UK media reported that chemicals in green and black tea can slow the growth of prostate cancer.
- 'Tea can slow growth of prostate cancer' - Findings were reported at the conference Experimental Biology 2004. The research found that prostate cancer cells grew more slowly when exposed to the blood serum of the men who had drunk either black or green tea. The accuracy and reliability of the research is unknown as the abstract was not available.
