1990

In 1990 The British Nutrition Foundation admitted that the hypotheses that IBS, diverticulitis and colo-rectal cancer are caused by a deficiency of fibre had not been substantiated, neither have those that fibre might protect against diabetes, obesity and CHD

In the early nineties, the American Heart Association revises its recommended weekly allowance of eggs from three to four, on the back of studies that indicated that eggs contained 10% less cholesterol than previously thought.
